18" on an NC

Post by Oz »

OK I'm looking at going a little OTT with my Cosworth powered NC.
I'm looking at fitting 18" wheels.
Don't mind a good fender roll but don't want to pull the guards to fit the wheels.
Width, offset and tyre size suggestions to achieve this appreciated.
Thanks guys

I was also debating on going the 18 route.... you can simply go through the website and look at the various 18's available. They listed suggested size of tires & how much rolling is needed for the specific wheel.

I decided to keep things lighter and save some money... going to just go with 17x9 & 245-40's

Indeed we prefer 17 inch for most customers, going 18 has certain ride quality degradation included. Nonetheless, I understand the attraction, they certainly look good.

One of the times we do go 18 is for autocross (CSP and XP class, etc). That's more a function of the sizes of Hoosiers available than anything else...and we don't care about ride quality while autocrossing.
