Wheel and Tire Decision

Post by Legally Insane »

Brian,

This is my first Miata. I have a 2002 LS mainly used for touring and commuting. Trying to decide on 16" RP-F1 wheel width and tire brand/ size combo. Maybe lower her 1" in future. I want the widest wheel/tire possible while keeping stock diameter without fender roll and still keep a decent ride. Thanks

See the RPF1 thread for more info on 225/40/16 and 245/35/16....both fit your Miata with no fender lip roll. Just got some new photos up this week of the 225/40/16 combo and I really think that setup works great...
