Brian, one more thing. I actually kind of like the new GTC 01's you all have on your site. I know it's not a mesh so I'm sort of stepping outside of what I said I wanted, but it's a good looking rim. I can't seem to find specs on it on the web. Does it come in 18 or 17 with a 8" width and a 48mm offset and if only in a 17, do you think I can get a tire combo that will fill the well up the way I want and a tread width around 8"? Just want to consider it. thanks

You don't see it around the web because it is brand new. First shipment from Japan should be here in about two weeks. Yes, both 17x8 and 18x8 in a 48mm offset. We have the 17 inch already up in the store. Most folks will fill the wheel well more by lowering the NC (improves handling and gets rid of the 4x4 look). But assuming you don't want to lower your NC, then you can run a larger diameter tire to fill it up more....225/45/17

Brian, Thanks again for all your help. I think I am going to go for those GTC01's 18x8. I'm going to give your guys a call to set it up soon. I'll see if I can post a photo up when I get them on. Thanks again.

RPM2

Post by TimS »

Enkei lists the RPM2 in 17x8, in 45mm offset. Will those clear without fender rolling using the 235/40 tire? Apparently the 48mm offset work OK, does the extra 3mm put it over the edge?

I've always admired the multispoke style wheels BBS made famous, and the RPM2's are a bit cheaper than RGRs.

Oh yeah, this is meant for an NC.

Yes, that 45mm combo will rub. 48mm is close for that size....REALLY CLOSE.

Or try www.car-part.com for a search of wreckers within the US and Canada.
