Magnetics we made many years ago....I keep intending to get another batch done but have not gotten around to it.SS07MX-5 wrote:hey Brian, where do you get those stickers or plaques that you have on the side of your NC. It looks cool, and I would like some. Thanks.

Can it fit? SSR Type-C RS 17x8" +48 with 235/40/17 tyre
Hi Brian,
I have a slightly lowered NC with JIC coilovers and was thinking of this combo on all 4 wheels :
rims : 17x8" +48
tyres : 235/40/17 tyres
Would it fit without rolling?
Would it rub on hard bounces?
Would it be better if i used a narrower tyre eg. 215/40/17 on the front?
tks lots in advance!
Kev

The 49 offset is a good choice but 245s are REALLY tight...and may rub. There are a number of variables including camber, tire model variances.....but we consistently get the 235/40/17 on without rub and we usually see some rub, at least over bumps, with 245s.

Does this combo needs fender roll? The car is about 4 points lower than stock.Brian wrote:How is this for interesting...RX7 wheels from one of our customers. 16x8 with 245/45/16s. I had been thinking this might make a great track setup and indeed they fit well. And this combination is slightly lighter than stock...by a few ounces. We plan to get some 245/45/16 race tires and either get an old set of these RX7 wheels for us or some SSRs in the same size.
Many thanks
It needed a slight fender roll for 245s.....none required for 225s.KingManos wrote:Does this combo needs fender roll?
