My 17x9 +45 245/40R17

Post by NC DRFT »

This is what your car will look like with 17x9 +45 with 245/40R17 Toyo T1R. The back is rolled agressively (completely flat inside) and there is no rubbing in the rear. The front has slight rub on hard bumpy turning, I will correct this with more front camber.

NC Drift... your car looks great. I wonder how gold would look with Marble white.

It would look great. You can come try out the wheels if you want. You are not so far. Here is gold on white, as you can see... I like GOLD RPF-1s...

This is a street setup that might see some track time. The NC is my wife's DD and my payment.

I am in Hacienda Heights and work in Cypress, so not far from you... Long Beach right?

The wheels on the WRX are 17x8 +45 5x100, the NC wheels are 17x9 +45 5x114.3. Tires on the WRX are 235/40R17 R888 and the NC is on 245/40R17 T1R (but I think might need to step down to a 235/40R17 or 245/35R17 depending on which tire). I originally planned on 235/40R17, but there was no stock, so I took the 245s. But the plan was to stretch a tire a little bit.

I am considering polishing the lip on the NC wheels...might look a little more blingy for street duty.

I'm not sure where Hacienda Heights is but its no big deal. Yes, i'm locatad in long beach and i work right next door to you on Garden Grove. Just my opinion but your wheels good like they are. There is a S2K in my area with Black painted RPF1's with a polished lip and i'm not impressed.

Hacienda Heights is at the 605 and 60 fwys.

I saw that s2k before, I don't know why, but I have an infactuation for bling lip... most likely thought, they will stay solid gold since its fine the way it is.

Brian, would you have any reservations regarding these 17X9 for everyday street use--besides cost of tire replacement.
