30 offset 15x7's on a NA (Fender rolling required?)

Post by jpimm »

I have a set of Avon Tech RA 205/50/15's left over from my last car. I need a set of wheels to put them on. Will they fit with just a fender lip roll? Or will they fit without? I know the ra1 is popular on a 30 offset wheel but I can't find whether or not that requires rolling the lip or not. The Avons I have have an 8.6" section width vs. the toyo's 8.4", so they are slightly wider. Right now the car is stock ride hight but I plan on lowering it in the near future (with Tein flex's). I'm probably going to shoot for 12-12.5" from center of hub to fender lip. I'm also going to run about -1.5 camber. Rolling the fender lip doesn't bother me I just want to make sure that I won't have to flare them also.

I'm looking at the "Pro Race TWO 15x7 Bronze 30mm", And this car is going to be autocrossed in CSP.

Yes, your plans will need to include the fender lip roll....

Ok thanks. As long as they will fit with the fender lip rolled.

What if I wanted to run some 225/45's in the future? would they still clear? Or would I need to come down to a 35 or 40 offset?

Thanks

It would be no work to fit 225s at 40mm offset....a little more work at 35...and more work to fit them at 30.

Are we talking pulling/flaring the fenders or just rolling the lip more?

Just a more aggressive rolling of the lips.
