Brake caliper paint

Post by velocity red 06 »

Does anyone have any tips on the painting of brake calipers or recommendations as to which is the proper paint to use? I have an 06 MX-5 with 17" wheels. Any help will be gladly accepted. Thanks, Richard

You need paint that is formulated for the job of resisting both the heat...and brake dust and brake fluid. Thus, you want caliper paint.

Don't forget to finish the job with a high temp decal. I found someone on ebay who made a "mazda" set when I asked (nicedecal@gmail.com).
