Camshaft install

Hi,

I recently bought a set of cosworth cams and i am about to install them.
Does anyone have any suggestions, tips to offer or even a simple walkthrough??

Hi, we have changed cams several times in the search for the perfect forced induction set-up, and i can give you my 2 cents.
If you have done or assisted before with this type of job, sure get the manual and go at it; but if you have not leave it to a pro..

Ok so assumiung you are the first scenario.


1.Make sure the new cams have the proper VVT triggers, we found out that not all cams made for the Duratec 2.0 necessarily come with the 4 triggers

2. remove hood, a lot easier to work

3.when you remove the caps record their location, use proper torque sequence and specs.


Keep in mind to to ultimately get the most out of your cams you will need a customized Tune. Not self promotion (use whoever you want) Just a fact
