I had progress sways and springs (RF) installed with 6UL 17x8 on 235/40 Toyo Proxes just yesterday.
I retained the stock shocks with trimmed bumpstops.

Seems the alignment shop didn't have the stock spec in there system because the car is so new, so I am taking it back next week. This will give some time for the suspension to settle anyway.

I'm going to go with the alignment specs Brian recommends with the suspension changes done.

Thanks,
Steve
Hi Steve: Any problem with the 235's and fender under hard corning etc?
Which Toyo Proxes do you have and how do you like 'em?
Thanks
Michael

Hi Michael,
No problems at all with clearance or fenders under hard cornering. I have the Toyo R1R’s. They are more than sticky enough for the street, at 200 tread wear and excellent on wet roads as well. The combination of sways, springs, tires and wheels made all the difference in handling, couldn’t be happier.
Thanks, Steve

Brian -

Just checking on alignment specifications. I have installed the Progress RF springs and the RoadsterSport sway bars. However, unlike many folks on the forum, I have not increased my wheel or tire size. I am still on stock wheels, tires and shocks. I wasn't sure if wheel and tire size played a roll in setting the proper alignment specs so wondering if the alignment specs you posted in this string are good for my set up. I drive about 5,000 miles per year and more than half of that is highway driving. I don't race or autocross this car but do like to drive twisty roads when I get the chance.

Thanks.

Greg

Stock wheel and tire doesn't change the numbers here, same suggestions from above apply, and it's going to feel so good with good alignment!

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm really happy with the new ride height of the car with the springs. With the new springs and sway bars I can feel the bumps a little more but a good trade off for how much they have tamed the body roll.

Looking at some upgrades for the Fiat next. I think the diverter valve and the full cat back exhaust look like great projects to tackle while the car is garaged for the winter.

Thanks again.
