Has anybody used this? If so, how do yall like it? Any rattles? Worth the money?

I assume you mean the cobalt short shifter? Check out Miata.net, there is a big thread on this topic. Also it's only available for the 6 speed.

Personally, I can't understand why anyone would want a short shifter for the NC. It's got the shortest shifter I've ever seen. Anything lower would require cutting the center console to provide hand clearance.

Now, my Viper could use a short shifter. Rowing through its gears is like churning butter.

Short shifters are not about making the handle shorter....they shorten the shift action by changing the fulcrum.
