NC w/ suspension, alignment suggestions

Post by Schain »

Hello everyone. Even though this is my first post, I have lurked here for a while and purchased quite a few items from Mr. Goodwin. I need an alignment done so I thought I'd ask for advice. This is for spirited street driving and possibly autocross or track days. Here are the suspension related parts on my 2007 PRHT:

Eibach Sportline Springs
Koni Yellow Shocks
Eibach Front and Rear Sway Bars
16x7 +45 Rota Slipstreams
205/50r16 Dunlop Direzza Star Specs

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

My suggestion for your mixed use

Front Camber -1.5
Front Caster 6
Toe: 1/32 inch (0°4.5' or 0.075°) IN per side

REAR Camber -1.5
Toe: 1/32 inch (0°4.5' or 0.075°) IN per side

What setting would you recommend for daily driver with weekend spirited back road driving with the following setup.

Progress/Koni setup with shocks set to full soft.
Hotchkit sways set to front med and rear soft
Trm C3 17x9 et48 with 235/40/17 eagle f1

What adjustments to the alignment and suspension would you recommend for autocross? My initial thoughts are to turn up the shock settings, increase toe, and increase camber, but I don't know by how much.

Is it a good idea to have the alignment shop setup the car to the first setting, but also set it to the autocross setting and mark the changes? This way I can go back and forth.

thx

Indeed I would take more camber for autocross if not doing a lot of freeway work. Perhaps move up to 1.8 on camber. I run 2.5 negative but don't much freeway at all in the car (just to and from events). For autocross I would zero toe the rear, and toe out the front just 1/16th per side. Many will zero toe for daily drive and then do 1/8th per side toe out at the event using markings on the adjusters to make it easy to dial it back.
