Looking to upgrade the brakes on my 96 that I am prepping for auto-x, and I'm trying to decide which route to go on brakes. How do the V4 big brake kits compare to stock in weight per corner? Are they lighter, or heavier?
Thanks,
Jason

Re: Weight of brakes?
You save about five pounds of unsprung weight each front corner for a total of about 10 pounds of unsprung weight saved off the front.....and one pound per corner rear.

Re: Weight of brakes?
One other quick question, what size wheels are needed to install these? I know flyin miata has a template for their BBK, which I think is similar to your V3, but was not sure about the V4 setup. Does 4 piston vs 6 piston make a difference as well?
Thanks again,
Jason
