GWR Headers

Post by NC 2.0 IN OZ »

Just had installed GWR Headers (onto stock mid-pipe and Roadster Q Muffler).

Thanks Brian, looks and sounds great. Headers arrived in West Coast Australia within a week of leaving CA. Great service all around.

The shop that installed left off 3 of the heat shields.
The shield that bolts onto the side bulkhead (shields the brake lines)..
Has anyone left this off or have they re-installed the shield?
Would it be OK to leave off or best to put back on?

Up-side is can see the Headers better with it off.

Thanks. John

Don't know that I'd like almost the entire brake system including the booster sitting there with all that radiated heat.
I installed the shield just to be safe.

Pulled the baffles out of my Q today...it actually sounds quieter!? and the bumometer thinks it goes harder too.

Yes, put the shield back on that protects the brake lines.
