FS: NC Carbon Fiber Hood, Trunk and Fenders

Post by Alex »

Hey guys!

I wanted to get some carbon pieces made but no one made them. So I have to pay a company to make them for me.
I know own the molds to these pieces and would like to try to put them to good use.
Would anyone here be interested in buying these pieces?
I have one set of carbon fenders, 1 hood, and 1 trunk ready to ship.
These are very high quality pieces and made from brand new mazda oem panels. They will be a direct replacement.

These molds can also be made into fiberglass pieces if you wish as well.

I'm still waiting on final weights of the finished pieces but here are their ball parks.

Hood
Stock weight ~15 lbs
CF Weight 11.3 lbs

Trunk
Stock weight ~8 lbs
CF Weight 6.4 lbs

Fenders (each)
Stock weight ~6 lbs
CF Weight 2.5 lbs

Here are some pictures.

More info and prices to come.

Pics didn't work!

Pending pricing and pictures I may hit you up for the trunk lid.

A vented hood would be excellent.

I'm working out prices now. Trying to get some fiberglass prices as well as an option.

Ball park prices would be about:
Hood:$1700
Trunk:$1400
Fenders:$1600

I know that may sound expensive but I'm really trying to keep the prices fair. I'm open to any feedback though. I may be able to make a deal, especially for the 1 set.

kinda on the pricey side =P
the garage vary hood costs around $800 and an average seibon CF hood costs around 500-700.
I am actually VERY interested in the front fenders and hood since my front fenders are damaged and need to be replaced.

I second this motion, particularly some louvers over the exhaust manifold.

That would be pretty awesome, but I'm only selling pieces that I had a mold made of.

Grey_nc: Are those for an NC for a different body style Mx5?
If you are seriously interested I can make you a deal for being the first to buy the hood and fenders. It's still expensive compared to the prices you posted but it's the best I can do.
