This may be a bit much to ask, but will the seat receive FIA certification?

Regardless, it's nice to see a fixed back bucket that 1-fits the miata, and 2-might be wide enough for daily use. I'd love to stick a Sparco Evo in there, but I don't want to use a shoe-horn to get into/out of the seat for a trip to the grocery store.

I don't expect they will seek FIA for such small production item.

No idea, but the point of the pics is the before and after difference. So, put yourself in the car and see where you start out and compare.

I've been looking at Lotus seats since I need to get a harness in my car and be able to use the OEM belt, so this is interesting. Will this fit into a NC? Will the sub strap hole be 6 point harness compatible? Will it work with the OEM belt for street use?

thanks
Jim

Sorry, have not looked at NC application yet for this. The NA/NB are incredibly narrow at the floor and that's where the need for something like this project came about, because the choices are otherwise limited. For NC the floor is much wider and many standard race seats will work, I have Cobra seats in one NC, and Sparco in another.
