It's a flag pole mount. Will you offer them in black?

Winner! Had lots of racing customers with these broken and no source, I know folks with a half dozen broken transmissions because they can't get the part. So, we finally ran a batch of the upgraded part that Mazda MotorSports was carrying years ago.

Isn’t this 3rd 4th gear shift fork problem only happened on 06 production 6spd transmission? Or it happened to later years as well?

My early 06 6-speed has never had this problem (76k miles, knock on wood), but I'll be getting one for my rebuild.

Once again, Brian comes through with the parts we need even before we know we need them! 8)

Brian,

If you get in the "tranny buisness"you could also produce some metal bushings to swap the plastic bits.

When the gearbox is opened for the shift fork swao then it is a 5min. job.

This 3rd 4th gear shift weakness is a know issue for a long time. But only few people pay attention about it, or even knew it. I have explored it back in 07 but decide to leave it alone since my NC see relatively low track time (compare to race team) and my driving style is relatively gentle in shifting and clutching. However, for sure I will do a swap if I open the tranny box.
