Dave's 2013 MX5 Club

Post by Brian »

Nicely modified 2013 MX5 Club leaving here today....

Rocky, our master miata mechanic, added numerous exterior and interior bits and our full RoadsterSport Max Power Header, RoadsterSport Midpipe and RoadsterSport Q Exhaust, AEM intake, Racing Beat sways, Progress Springs, calipers painted red, and much more. Result is as much fun to drive as it is to look at.

I'll be going in for my PPE header and Q on Wednesday!

What shift knob is that? Does it fit a manual Tranny?
Rocky painted the Calipers?

Yes, Rocky can paint the calipers (we have caliper paint on the site in several colors).

Those knobs are from Mazda and customer supplied them.

Is that the "appearance package" length Q? If so, is the other standard Q the exact same length as the stock exhaust?

Out of curiosity, being an automatic did the header totally clear the transmission cooling lines, or did Rocky need to do anything special with them to create clearance? If so, what did he do?

Great question. With the RoadsterSport Street header you need to move the cooling lines. The RoadsterSport Max Power header used here will install on the automatic without doing anything to the cooling lines, though it is close to the larger housing of the automatic it does clear. However, if the larger RoadsterSport Midpipe is used with that RoadsterSport Max Power header then a little panel that is sticking out from the big sump of the automatic needs to be trimmed slightly, see update I posted in the Instructions Section thread on header install, with pictures.
