Brian, the page on your website with this header states lifetime warranty. Would wrapping this header with something like DEI Titanuim exhaust wrap have any affect on this warranty?

Part of the reason I'm asking is because a different brand header on my sisters car (not even a Miata) just cracked, and it was wrapped. I'm not saying the wrap caused it, if something does happen with your header, I'd like to know if the header being wrapped would cause any issues with the warranty...

Yes, wrapping the header voids the warranty with every brand of header I know. The reason is that the wrap traps moisture against the metal causing rapid corrosion. And the wrap does not accomplish anything that we don't get with ceramic coating, figure about 30 days until we have ceramic coated version complete.

How about if I paint them with high temp header paint? I know it's not gonna do anything with temps but in my opinion black will look better..

You can use a header paint on there without causing issues on the warranty.

Header blanket fine...we would not sell it if it made warranty issues.

I will add you don't want both the blanket...AND ceramic coating because the blanket would scratch the ceramic.

Hard on it around Turn 4 at Laguna Seca! This car was stable and planted on the Ohlins, had a nice surge of torque from the 2.5L coming out of every corner and completely confidence inspiring brakes.
