Hi All:
Im at the stage where I have the new cowl brace installed. Now, Im ready to install the brace itself.
Looking at the ends of the brace, it appears I need to remove the circular black brackets that are in place around the strut tower. Is this correct? If so, is there a problem loosening ALL bolts at once (there are about 5 fasteners on each side) and then slide the brace over the screws to tighten down?
Am I correct in assuming these black circular braces are not to be used once the strut tower brace is installed?
Thanks!

Re: question on strut tower brace installation
Another question:
Im assuming some of the hardware provided is for attaching the black "modules" to the flanges of the brace.
As I look under the hood, on the left side, there is a plastic module that is to be attached with two screws. There literally is zero room to get a tool under this area to tighten the nuts to the screw. The original round metal black adaptor that I took off the tower before putting on the brace had welded screws that poke up through the attachment therefore it was easy to put a nut on this screw and tighten from the top.
Is there an easy way with a loose nut and screw to attach this module??
