Our New 2012 PRHT SS Project....
Re: Our New 2012 PRHT SS Project....
Wanted to clean up the cabin, and the number one item on the list was the Dash Cam hard-wire installation under the plastic fascia. Here are a few pictures and links to my set-up. If you have a Smartphone, this is a great Dash Cam. Check out a lengthy review of the system here:

Links to the Dash Cam and power source I ordered from

Backup power – Incase I run down the battery.

Installed it behind the windshield fascia so the wiring is out of sight, and always powered through the fuse box. Nice feature with the Dash Cam is that it goes into ‘speed’ recording when the car stops for more than 5 minutes. Also, a great feature is if the car is ‘hit’ or disturbed it returns to 30 frames a second. It is nice to know what is happening to your car while you’ve left it in a parking lot. Really happy with the setup, the only issue with this setup is not a rear facing camera, other than single limitation it is a very good set up.

Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, and a few UT National Parks make for a sweet 2-day 1,800-mile Scenic Drive! little over 40,000 miles on my NC and she is still running like a champ! The only time I put up the top, was during an incredible thunderstorm somewhere in Utah!
Still, in Love with this small, incredibly fun car. I look at the new ND's and still come back to the NC Grand Touring as my favorite looking convertible with hardtop. Maybe when the next Generation (NE?) with Skyactive X engines getting 65 to 70 MPG hit, I might buy new. My 9-year-old already has 'dibs' on this one, so we will have it in the family for years to come!!

HELLS BACKBONE
Another trip with 'Shasha', I absolutely love this car! Just a few quick photos from my last adventure through some of the prettiest Scenic roads in America. Also highly recommend running along -Hells Backbone- road. Still holding up like a champ! The only issues I have is finding gas stations, as you can see I like to keep off the main freeway. I'm Quickly coming up on 50,000 on the odometer. It is pure joy when you're out on a lonely road with the top down, in the middle of nowhere, just you and the windy road. If you driving through the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument in Utah, look for Hells BackBone! Great windy road.
I took the 25MPH posted speed limit as a 'suggestion'

Re: Our New 2012 PRHT SS Project....
Covid killed 2020 for getting out into the wild! Planning a few long-haul trips this summer, and getting BACK to Normal, none of this bullshit about 'new normal'. The car is still 100%, with no issues or concerns. Planning on addressing/tweaking suspension in the future, with an upgrade to a new Dash-Cam system. The trouble with buying an almost perfect NC, tricked out by Goodwin, is he didn't leave much left that needs to be upgraded.

Thanks for the update, happy to know that project is still running strong and max many smiles per mile!
