My hope for that new SuperQ is goes to production and on the site by September. My hope is new brake kit in production now is on site as new item in August. My hope is new 17x10 built on this project is also on site in August.

Car is currently up on jackstands in north end of our building where we do design and fitment work. It is there with Ryan working on details of stuff like the new oil cooling kit...and a few more items we are not at liberty to share just yet.

Starting on getting this project ready for Laguna Seca Raceway. Laguna is a brake killer, at least if you want to go fast and pass people deep in the brake zone at turn 2 like we do! :D Our brake duct setup is getting added today. Also playing with pad compounds as we work to finish the budget big brake kit. Had smooth rotors on the car, now going to test some slotted in same size.

As previously noted we are running 17x10. These are 6UL in the pics on the car but they have 52mm offset (made for S2000) and we use 9mm of spacers to get us to an NC fitment. We like that effective offset of 43mm as a good compromise, it's the most easy to locate 17x10 with 255/40 with decent camber numbers and get it under the factory fenders with just a good lip roll, no pull required. Have been working with Konig on turning this fitment into production version of the Hypergram wheels and hope to see first production pieces in the next 30 days or so.

Official Results Posted from BMW Club Event Last Saturday, Top Time of Day Again: Miata Is Always The Answer!

It says 2019 on results page because again we took BOTH our 2019 and 2006 to this event, fast time set in the 2006. Our buddy William Wong came nearest to catching us in an STR trim ND. Our 2019 is setup for SCCA CS and well over 2 seconds slower per lap because the suspension response is so much slower with the prep limits of that class (stock springs!). We had some new rear bumpstops to test in the 2019 so we did few laps in the 2019 to test that new setup before setting fast time in the 2006.

Tires were TOAST, so bad we had to swap them left to right in the middle of our runs or we were going to have nothing but belts to drive on for our last runs with two drivers. Result of using such worn out tires was lots more steering input required as they faded away, more than you usually see in my videos, fortunately there was just enough rubber remaining to get the class win and Top Time of Day!

CAD Rendering.

Goal for our fastest autocross and track NC customers is correct offset for plug and play on NC with just mild fender roll. Chosen offset will assume over 2 degrees negative camber front and rear (our Budget NC Racer has -3 front, -2.5 rear). With luck, production by August

These have arrived in port, going on the site TODAY with the CAD rendering, real pics by end of week as time permits!

First Pics of NEW 17x10 Race Size for NC Miata and RX8!

We worked with the 'B' spoke profile and ended up with nice concave!

Weight came in 17.9 lbs, very good for this size with the big load rating, more than a pound LESS than 6UL we were using and now we can dump the 9mm of spacers too!
