Looks great, and excited to see how focused street performance improvements will transform this NC. This new build doesn't appear to fit the title of the previous build. Figured out a new project title yet?

Not quite an ultimate street build for the NC because cost is still a factor, more of a best quality street performance for reasonable price and work. So far the mods all appear to be something easily done in a garage with reasonable home mechanic skills - will that be a factor for upcoming mods as well? Maybe throw in a challenge of making it the car you and the wife regularly choose for a weekend trip over your Fiata and ND? Seems to be all about comfort, style and fun performance mods.

Indeed new build really needs both new title and new thread, but we have not figured that up yet.

Had a car here today with factory 17x7 wheels while our turbo NC was sitting on the rack next to it, so took the chance to check that factory wheel over the GWR Budget BBK. Clears with plenty of room:

Cipher Auto steering wheel arrived for our turbo NC. This one has their silver stitching. Another one is on deck for our newest grey NC as well. Seeing the before and after and feeling this new wheel in my hands has made me a big fan of these. And best of all, keeps the factory airbag!

Rocky notes install was quick and straightforward (be sure to disconnect the battery so airbag is disabled during install!).

Did you guys ever figure out the problem with the return fuel line on the budget racer? Had a thread go off topic in Miata.net and if equalizing fuel available across the rail is your main goal, it occurred to me that utilizing a modified dead head feed fuel rail could easily fix that issue. A slightly larger than stock fuel rail fed by two fuel lines split from the main fuel line, one between cylinders 1 & 2 and the other between 3 & 4 would keep things even, and a fuel pressure sensor on the rail between #2 & 3 should keep the ECU well informed. Probably less fuel pressure variance with a flow through system, but the different richness at each cylinder with the stock deadhead rail seems to be the bigger issue, and the modified deadhead seems to be a simple fix for that.

We ran out of time before COTA event and did stock rail and never looked back.

Do you guys ever get around to doing a Dyno run for the budget racer now that you're back from Cota? Few details on boost numbers etc would be interesting. Hope all is well in this tuff time.

On the new Grey Street 08 project today, cleaning up rear calipers and adding some color. Going to nicely match the front Bargain Big Brakes going on the car....
