I told lots of folks that 17x10 is never really going to work with our new long travel KONI coilover. But so many of you keep asking that we are playing with the 17x10 on here and how many of our Bumpstop Packers for Koni Shocks 1/4" we are going to need to get it done. YES, you give up travel to get even 245/40 in this car with ANY long travel coilover. Otherwise the tire is acting like a brake and grinding up inside the fender and it might do it on just one side as you brake into a turn and that could rotate the car in a unpredictable manner.

Bumpstop Packers for Koni Shocks 1/4" set of 4. After some testing on my favorite banked freeway ramps we are now 5 of these quarter inch packers per all four corners, plus one 1/8th packer at each front corner. Your mileage will vary depending on tire and alignment and HEIGHT. Right now we are about 13.25 height each front corner, 13.5 at rear corners.

Fun BMW CLUB event this past weekend. THREE drivers in this car! Greg and Luis and Brian (me) all taking turns. The new 9/5 springs are certainly faster than the 7/4 combo. We had top time of day in this car for first half of the day. Also had our supercharged NC on OHLINS and it was faster by more than a second once it was running.

When do you anticipate the next delivery date for these? I saw on your site where you were taking prepay and was just curious about the ETA.

Also, would you suggest new OEM top hats? Mine currently has 70K miles on them.

My top hats had about 75k on them and were totally good to use again.

Fun day at a small local event, 61 sign ups. TOP TIME OF DAY in a 20 year old Miata with 80k miles on the chassis is a great result. Our 2.5 liter normally aspirated motor under the hood, riding our ClubSport Coilovers, Progress Sways, and 17x10 wheels. This car is SO EASY to drive fast. My supercharged 325hp NC is another 1 to 2 seconds faster, depending on course design, but that car is more on edge compared to this machine. This machine is just really easy to be smooth and quick.
