what happens when the recessed letters get crud in them? Must be a bugger to clean.

Yeah I would change that if I could. I use a brush to get the muck out. Got a new 2.0 Sport now so got the standard 17" wheels on so the MOMOs are in the garage. Thought about getting them powder coated graphite for a different look on the galaxy grey car.
