17" vs. 18" Wheels
Re: 17" vs. 18" Wheels
It is a close choice between the Enkei RP-F1 17x9 45mm and the 18x9.5 45mm. That 17x9 is popular with track guys because it is significantly lighter than the 18x9.5 and keeps overall package weight down (lighter and better choice than that 17x8.5 too). The 18x9.5 lets you support a little more tire on the ground but with a little more weight. The choice comes back to what tracks you will run the most often? High speed tracks suggest the 17x9 is your best combo (least amount of aero drag and weight). But for tighter and slower tracks the extra support and grip of the 18x9.5 is my suggestion.

Brian:
Does the 18 x 9.5 RPF-1, the 17.4 pounds special version, come in any other offsets (i.e. other than 45)?
Thanks.

Re: 17" vs. 18" Wheels
I'm considering going with the 17x9 setup, what tire sizes are recommended for this?
Re: 17" vs. 18" Wheels
Most guys run a 255mm wide tire on that.
