I am working on a new engine project, putting a 2.5 in my 06 MX-5.
Does anyone know if a flywheel for a 2.0 MX-5 will fit on a 2.5 from a Mazda 3?

Yes, we used our MX5 flywheel and clutch when we put the 2.5 in NCLIGHT.

Thanks Brian, good to know. Now I can buy a flywheel.
I assume the stock starter will also work?

Sorry, that may not be a good assumption on the starter. I can't recall where we got the starter...we just had a used one laying around that fit. My guess is that it came off a MX5 Cup Car but not entirely sure.
