Alignment

Post by RUKnight »

Brian,

Heading over to take my Miata in for an alignment. My NC2 is lowered, 13.5" ride height rear and 13.25 in the front and I'm running FCM Coilovers with 450 front springs, 336 rear and a Mazdaspeed front sway bar. As for use I do auto-x 1-2 times per month, 1-2 track days per year and also some street miles. No more than 5k miles per year so I'm not too concerned about tire wear at this point but also don't want something that'll shred the tires in a year. Any thoughts on the alignment specs? I'm not all that aggressive on the roads but do like to have some fun.
Thanks
Mike

Everything is a compromise. Here I would take 1.5 negative camber all around. Your highway mileage is low enough that I would do zero toe all around with that and then as much front caster as you can get with these other settings.
