With the ND Rear shock brace in place, the panel covering the fuel tank needs some trimming to fit. This panel is very thin and not difficult to cut:
Unmodified panel laying in its approx. location, but cannot bolt-down because it interferes with the brace:
Line drawn on the panel showing roughly what portion needs to be trimmed off. We adjusted this a bit more following this:
Rough cut done:
Trimmed a bit more after a test-fit, then cleaned the edge up and put some rubber trim over the edge and installed:

I have a 2008 with auto trans. Will all the braces fit this car (thinking front brace of standard not used on auto's????)

Does the NC brace kit fit the automatic cars. I think some front braces don't fit and the auto doesn't even come with one under the trans from Mazda that the manual trans has. is that correct?

Front and Rear shock tower brace torque is ONLY 12-19 Ft/Lbs. Factory service manual
