Congrats to customer Vivek Goel for winning CS at Nationals for 2022. Even more impressive is the car is all the basics, no exotic double adjustables, all the same bits we run on our ND, very simple:

Karcepts front sway bar
Off the shelf koni single adjustable shocks
OEM front bumpstops, cut down about 1/2"
The blue rear bumpstops that we sell
Yokohama A052 tires

Max front camber at -1.8, rear camber -1.4
Zero toe all around
Front bar set at position 2 on both sides
Rear shocks 100% stiff
Front shocks 70% stiff

On the alignment rack. Didn't get all of what we wanted, but pretty good:

Front Camber -1.75 Right and left
Front TOE Zero. Always have done toe out for 30 years, but recently been trying toe zero because so many are doing that on ND and so far I like it so we stay with that for now.
Caster 6. This is about reducing scrub of the tire on fender liner, we stuff 225/45/17 tires in the fenders for CS.

Rear Camber -1.5 Right and Left
Toe Zero.

No news.
I haven't seen an update, but it's worth asking again!
Nothing new from Edelbrock. The HKS unit has some promise, FAB9 has one install working on ND2.
Ok so FAB9 says the HKS is worked out for ND2 on their website. Nothing about it being CARB legal yet. Any chance you’ll be looking further into this, Brian? I’d happily buy it from you guys to keep your business going after you’ve done some in-house testing or at least if you’ve vetted it from FAB9.

WE are in California, deep in CARB land. And Fab9 is really too small to bother with CARB certification, which is very expensive to do. Thus, unless HKS decides to bankroll the CARB effort we will be sitting on the sidelines for now, though I would love to see it get CARB.

There is a thread on the connection issues on the HPDE facebook group. Here are some photos of the locations and examples of zip tying needed to prevent issue in high track use.

Great fun to get out again with the BMW Club! Lots of old friends and car crazy enthusiasts slipping and sliding cars around the course.

Covid meant no events for about two years and loss of Qualcomm Stadium location to redevelopment extended the down time. Our 2019 still likes to be at the pointy end of the field (this is their class for Instructors, 'G' for Gold Class). Just barely nipped buddy Chris in the Vette.
