PROJECT FIAT 124, Testing, Measurements, Dyno, etc

Smaller version of pics above for easier posting and linking. KONI RACE shocks and Progress progressive rate sport touring springs in a very simplified coilover setup.

Took the long way home, including some favorite 270 degree 'test loops' and it feels great. Certainly the turn-in response is not as fast as with the Ohlins on 9/5kg Swift springs, but ride quality with the progressive design Progress springs is noticeably more plush, and the car is still remarkably FAST in the turns with the Karcepts sway bars.

Ride quality down the freeway has the same magic carpet ride feel as with the NC install of this setup when the Koni are set to soft and tires at 28psi. I will go so far as to say the ride is plush for an ND/Fiat 124 on fast coilovers, and yet well composed. A great sport touring setup.
