TSB: ND Rocker Panels (Global Cup Car)

Friends from Mazda and Long Road Racing have passed us this TSB for how the Global Cup Car NDs are adding a few self-tapping screws to hold the rocker panels in place more securely.

Autocross cone contact often will knock off an ND rocker, this is the simple solution before it happens.

Bump to make this one easier to find and later update.

Mazda also now makes a clip (“Clip, N243-51-SJ3” ) that can be installed when rocker is off the car that is the new factory alternative to our use of a pair of self taping screws....but we still do it our way. This became standard with 30AE and is not on my 2019 ND2 Miata.
