NC Tires for Daily Spirited Driver

Hey friends, looking for some tire advice. Just purchased a HIGH mileage NC and am looking to get her ready for some fun spirited driving. Note, it will also be my daily driver.

So here are some of my thoughts. For the time being I will be using the OEM 17” wheels, but am considering the progress technology springs with koni adjustable shocks (front & rear) with 36/58 sport bump stop kit and Progress Technology Antisway bar combo.

Looking for a tire I can use year round in San Diego. On my NA’s I always used Toyo Proxes T1R’s year round (on Koni shocks, with Racing Beat springs and sway bars) and loved them; of course throttling back my aggressiveness in the rain.

Finally, considering the above setup would you suggest sticking with 205/45R17, or other size tire?

Thanks Brian! Ordered and appointment to have them installed tomorrow.

Should be placing supply order shortly for my first maintenance/repair appointment with Rocky (next Thursday).

Looking at the carfax report for this high mileage NC (205k), it doesn't appear as though much of anything (other than oil changes) have been done for the last 80k mi (luckily they were regular at 3-5k); as such, below is what I am thinking should be part of my phase 1 focus areas.

Complete Inspection
Oil Change (w/Synthetic & K&N Oil Filter, regular between 3-5k)
Transmission Fluid Change (Red Line MTL, last change at 60k)
Differential Oil Change (no record of ever being changed)
Replace Spark Plugs (HKS Iridium M-Series)
Replace Air Filter (K&N Panel Air Filter)
Replace Coolant Expansion Tank (Aluminum, last flush at 102k)
Install GWR High Performance Street Brake Kit (rotors resurfaced at 102k)
Install Clutch Hydraulics Combo Kit (occasional slip between 3rd and 4th gear)
Install Koni Adjustable Shocks (OEM shocks still installed, LOL)
Install Progress Springs
Install GWR 36/58 Sport Bump Stop Kit
Install Total Bushing Kit (should I do this now based on high miles and being that everything will be exposed for the other repairs/mods?)
Install RoadsterSport Sway Bars & Endlinks
Alignment (based on your street recommendations)
Performance Tune (how much tuning can be done on the NC..this is my first NC)

Am I missing anything? Phase 1 focus is maintenance, repair and safety.

Phase 2 - Clutch
Phase 3 - Cooling & Intake
Phase 4 - Exhaust
Phase 5 - 2.5L Conversion :-D

That complete bushing kit is a lot of work, could have Rocky inspect and report if bushings are cracked. With that mileage they may be cracked and crumbling, or they may just be hard. If just hard they can stay (though ride suffers a bit), if actually cracked and breaking up they should all be replaced.
