Just installed Cipher Auto ND steering wheel on the Fiat 124!

Before:

After:

Install is all the same as the ND with one minor modification needed where some of the locating pins on the backside of the palstic center trim ring don't line up with the holes in the ND wheel.

Remove two plastic pins from the back side of the center airbag trim ring. The pins to be removed are circled in red below. The trim ring is still held in place solidly by the larger pin below, so this doesn't affect how the trim piece looks or otherwise once it is installed:

The Fiat has a slightly larger diameter steering wheel than the ND, so whereas on the ND the Cipher wheel provides a slight increase in thickness, on the Fiat the Cipher wheel is actually the same circumference as stock. While diameter stays the same, the Cipher steering wheel offers improved material and shape for better feel and appearance than the stock wheel.

Just wanted to check in i recently received my cipher Nc wheel and was in the process of installing it when i noticed it was incredibly tight fit on the splines compared to the stock wheel. Is this to be expected?
