Next year the plan is to pain the lower panels to match and swap to a spray on liner. Hoping that’ll help show off the drop a bit more and push into the ST trim Ford hasn’t made yet.

Still waiting on KONI test dampers before going lower again and while we wait got an offroad day with some friends this weekend in our Maverick!

Our little hero Maverick Shop Truck did real truck duty for the three day Sonoma Raceway weekend, 9 hours of towing both ways. Towed the NC Miata to the event and Fiat 124 from the event. Trailer and car together both combos just over 3900 lbs and the rated tow max is 4000 pounds. The little Maverick did great. Still has our lift/leveling springs which presented zero issues to towing the Maverick's Max Rated Tow.

FACTORY on our Lariat trims was 18x7 45mm with Michelin 225/60/18 tire and TOTAL WEIGHT of 51.65 pounds. New setup is 18x8.5 5X108 42 MATTE BRONZE Konig Heliogram with 235/60/18 Michelin Latitude Sport 3 and TOTAL WEIGHT JUST 46.90 Pounds! Slightly taller to fill the gap a bit, but we got the tow package with lower final drive ratio so we are still lower final drive effectively than the average Maverick. Feels MUCH more sporty in the turns when combined with change of springs, and our prototype rear sway bar, and these Sport Truck tires that are Porsche standard issue on the Macan. Our MCGARD Spline Drive Lugs are STRONGLY recommended and that's what we used here.

The classic 'real truck' 4x8 plywood hauling job is so easy in the Maverick! Put the tailgate at the angle position and the sheets slid in onto the flat top wheel wells and stack easily.
