ReadyRamp on the Maverick.
Been impressed with the flexibility of the Maverick bed. Ford calls it 'Flexbed' and part of that is you can set the tailgate at different heights. Thanks to the unibody construction the modest 54 inch bed is flat and almost without wheel arches. Molded into the side of the bed are slots where you can use your own DIY dividers cut from standard bits of lumber. Also, lots of tie downs top and bottom in the bed.
Maverick's bed is wide enough to accommodate a 4x8 sheet of plywood. The tailgate can be locked at 45°, at which angle its height aligns with the aforementioned supports to keep your plywood flat. In this position, the tailgate can support up to 400 pounds. If you need length the load floor extends to 6’ with the tailgate fully extended.

Friends had their fridge stocked for the holiday and the compressor failed and all the appliance stores in town told them delivery would be at least a week. Little Maverick to the rescue. Continuing to use this little truck daily for most errands, it's just so easy with the really low bed height. Tow ratcheting straps to hold it and 20 miles down the freeway we went with zero issues. I used a gym mat and some old ramps to make my loading and unloading easier.

Next up with our own Maverick is doing our own flavor of LIFT springs. Since we are in San Diego half the trucks here need to look like they are running the Baja 500 next weekend. Went over many variables including what the other companies like Eibach have done, and then worked with our friends at Progress on our own specs. Lots of folks are excited in the Maverick community about the 'Tremor' package from Ford that will have 235/65R-17 Falken WildPeak A/T Trail SL tires on 17x7 wheels in stock 37.5mm offset. We will be doing similar heights but a bit more aggressive size of the same tire, 245/65R-17 Falken WildPeak A/T Trail SL on 17x7.5 Sparco Dakar wheels in 35mm offset.
