After market NC Roll bar?

Post by Copper07 »

Nooby here, just got my 2007 Copper Red Touring, thinking of doing some AutoX and eventually track days or HPDE. I can't find mention anywhere of after market roll bars for the NC to make it track legal. Are the stock bars sufficient? I notice Brian you are running yours on track with stock bars. Any comments/suggestions?

Aftermarket bars are in development but nothing available yet. So, we run the stock bars for now...

Actually Mazdaspeed in Japan already release a roll cage

Very nice design and still maintain the soft top.

Yeah, that is actually Anthony Woodward Racing doing that project for them. They are just up the road from us here. I may do something similar to the design we have seen out of Japan in the link above posted by v67gsr...using Autopower which is also local to us to do the bending.
