JICs on 2007 PRHT MX-5

Post by DJohnAnderson »

I was wondering how the JICs would work for the 2007 power retractable hard top, since I've heard rumors that the rear springs are a little different from the normal MX-5.

Also, from what I've read, lots of people go with new wheels/tires when they use install the JICs. How do the JICs work with the stock 17 inch wheels/tires?

The JIC work on the Hardtop the same as on any other NC. Mazda only adjusted the spring rates on the hard top by a few pounds higher to account for the extra weight....but the rates on the JIC are much higher still. The JIC work fine with stock 17s...
