i was lookin at some detailed pictures of some headers that wouldnt fit the auto, and i look under my car and down beside the motor... It looks like there is plenty of room and i dont see where the bell housing would even be an issue... is it because my miata came with the optional sport automatic?

Sorry, I have actually tried this install...and the headers we have currently do not fit the Automatic. Sorry, no way around it that I know if...because it was not close.

Hi ohnedich69,
Your post had me curious so I went looking around online. Just as Brian was saying, and he definatly knows his stuff, there is'nt any headers for the automatic transmission cars to be found. I wanted to know a few things about the car you are looking to modify.

1. Is this car your daily driver?
2. In what state is the car registered? (CA, NV, AZ etc.)
3. Are you looking to enter competitions or just have a little fun?

Actually i might be trading it in for a 1999 Miata 5 speed. This would enable me to do whatever i would want to it.
