Flat tire kit.

Okay, this may be a stupid question, so forgive me. The flat tire kit that comes with the NC... would that damage my wheels in any way? I've never used one of these, and (knock-on-wood) hope I never need to, but just want to know if this will cause me a lot of heartache if I am forced to use it.

It makes a mess in there if you need to use it...but no damage.
