I live in a pine jungle, so all sorts of tree debris falls into the area around the open top. In fact, it looks like I'll have to do the dismantling as though I was installing the new rollbars to clean out debris that has fallen down.
So far I see nothing built specifically for the NC.
Is there a solution on the horizon?
Boot Cover for NC?

Can you read German?
And are you willing to pay 122 Euros plus shipping?

Actually I do read German;-)
The total price with shipping (because there is no VAT to the US) was 144 Euros.
BTW, go to the STARTSEITE to get an English-language interface. (Hint: It's the British logo;-)
I'll report on it as soon as they come in.
The installation instructions are pictures only, like IKEA furniture. They can be downloaded at the site.

As I understand it, each dealer association (in our case North American Dealer yada yada) chooses what will be offered in the way of colors, interiors, accessories, etc. I notice the Brits have some cool interior options also! Hopefully, if we hammer our dealers hard enough, they will get the association to "loosen up".
Here's to tape players, MD players, multi colored interiors, & top tonneaus.

They're $179.95, only a bit less than I've paid in Germany. They're not here yet;-)

They're here!
But this is a week and weekend when I'll be too busy to install them, especially as I will have to get into the areas behind the seatback to remove the tree detritus that's already there.
I had been wondering about the raising and lowering of the convertible top. Suffice to say that these are easy to remove; though you'll have to get out of the car to remove these covers to lower the top.
It's a shame that our US Mazda has not seen fit to have these in stock for us. Also, they will remind me that I need to consider a cloth roof when I have lost the seal on my vinyl one;-)

I got my credit card bill today,
and the whole cost (with $60) for shipping was $177.
That's a few buckes less than the US source.
