Fidanza Flywheel Torque? HELP!

Post by nomaxx25 »

Hi
I have just recently got a Fidanza aluminium flywheel for my 2006 MX5(NC)
and when i brought it into my workshop to have it installed my mechanic asked me what is the correct torque should be applied to the bolts on the crank. I am really not sure and tried sending a e-mail to Fidanza but its been bounced back as there might be someting wrong with their e-mail service.

Does anyone have any idea what amount of torque should be used for my NC. Hope someone here might have the answer for me.

Thanks and cheers all,
Mike

Post by nomaxx25 »

Hi Brian,

I found out the info, and its 70 - 75lbs. Its supposed to be the same torque as the OEM specs. Thanks again for your help.

Hi brian,

I got the Fidanza flywheel installed today and took the car for a test drive after, and i must say this flywheel is fantastic, the pick up is smooth and fast and the throttle feels so much more lighter than stock. Its a great mod and i suggest all NC owner to have this flywheel installed..you will definately not be dissapointed with the added power on pick up.

cheers,
mike

Red Brace in Pictures

Post by CalgaryMX5 »

Hey Mike,

I noticed in the pictures of your MX5, you have a red brace of sorts on the underside of the car. I have never been under my car so I don't even know if it's there, or is that something you've added.

Thanks
