Koni shocks setting

Post by nomaxx25 »

Hi Brian,

I just got my Koni Yellow Sport today and will be installing them tomorrow together with my RX8 sway bars. Just to check with you what will be the best settings to adjust my shocks to for front and rear. Since i am using the Autoexe springs with the following rates, what do you think will be a good setting to play with. Spring rates are:

Spring rate Fr:33.9 (19.4) Rr:29.4 (15.7) N/mm

Any suggestions will be helpfull.

Cheers,
Mike

Tune to taste...my suggestion is start with one full turn from stiff in the rear and the same in the front.

Thanks brian..i guess i need to do a little testing on the settings as the rx8 sways will make the car a whole lot stiffer and i dont want too much understeer or the tail to snap out too fast..will fill you in on the best setting i got after playing with it.

Cheers and have a great weekend ahead!
