Yes, the center caps just pop on and off...

Brian, I've seen the these Konig Runaway wheels listed on another internet site and they had the weight shown as 19.36 lbs.
Have you had a chance to actually weigh one of these wheels yet and verify the weight?

We weighed our first set of the 17x7 and they were within two ounces of the Konig spec. Have not had a chance to double check the 8 inch. They likely make a few offsets and bolt patterns in that which could easily make the difference.

For whatever reason, the official Konig website doesn't yet list the weights for the Runaway model. Maybe you have access to a dealer site that has more complete info.

The "other" website I referenced lists the 17x7 Runaway at 16.9 lbs (which appears to be very close to what you measured), so my feeling is that the 17x8 may actually come in at just over 19 lbs, which would unfortunately limit it's effectiveness as a good lightweight option.

Yeah, that result would not surprise me. I will weigh next set of 17x8 that roll through here. For the NC, can't beat the Enkei choices for lightness.

I just weighed a set of Konig Runaways 17x8 46et 5x114. They weigh 19.2lbs.

Note: The 17x8 et46 Konig Runaways weigh 19.2lbs not near ~17lbs weight that has been previously posted. Not lightweight but not heavy either. Works for me for a winter wheel/tire setup.
